Violent haze first formed late in 2005, as a 5 piece metal band from Glossop and played our first gig in December 05 where we first began to build our fan base. We Then proceeded to gig throughout 2006, becoming heavier and heavier and as our fan base grew we began to pack out venues more frequently.
The beginning of 2007 saw Violent Haze perform some of our biggest gigs, playing to a constantly growing fan base throughout the Northwest. As our popularity grew we began to draw the attention of a number of promoters and record labels.
Just as we seemed to be at an all time high, August 2007 saw the loss of the bands drummer Adam Tyree, forcing Violent Haze to drop behind the scenes to search for a suitable replacement, which in return put a lot of pressure on the rest of the band and lead to the eventual break up of Violent Haze.
Though many of the band members went there separate ways, Vocalist Chris Walsh and Guitarist Matt Lindsay continued to work together writing new music and eventually decided to reform Violent Haze in January 2008, Bringing in Ste Richmond on Guitar. Though we started to write new material, the search for a suitable drummer was still a big problem and it wasn't till the middle of 2008 that Mike Dembinski became the new drummer and Damian Gregory became the bands new bassist of Violent Haze.
We then started to produce more songs becoming even heavier and more brutal then ever before. Violent Haze eventually played our first gig of 2008 on the 23rd of august at the witchwood with death metal band Dissociation.
At present we are gigging throughout the Northwest, destroying venues, melting faces and constantly increasing our fan base.
